INTODUCTION TO ENGINE BUILDING

The Introduction to Engine Building  provides a hands-on overview of engine assembly and maintenance, focusing on key components, assembly techniques, and troubleshooting. Students will learn to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble engines, gaining practical skills and a solid understanding of engine mechanics.

ROTATING ASSEMBLIES

The Rotating Assembly course explores the critical components of an engine’s rotating assembly, including the crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons. Students will learn about the design, function, and assembly of these parts, focusing on balancing, clearances, and precision. Through practical exercises and technical insights, participants will gain the skills needed to optimize engine performance and reliability.

ENGINE BLOCKS

The Engine Block course offers a detailed examination of the engine block's role in engine performance. It covers key topics such as block construction, materials, machining, and assembly. Participants will learn how engine blocks support internal components and how to address common issues, gaining practical skills for maintaining and optimizing engine durability and efficiency.

COMPONENT SOURCING

The Component Sourcing course provides a comprehensive guide to identifying, evaluating, and procuring engine components. Students will learn how to source high-quality parts, assess supplier reliability, and understand the impact of component specifications on engine performance. The course includes practical strategies for cost-effective sourcing and quality control to ensure the best outcomes for engine assembly and maintenance projects.

CYLINDER HEADS

The Cylinder Head course provides a focused study on the design, function, and maintenance of cylinder heads. Participants will explore key aspects such as valve mechanisms, porting, and gasket sealing, along with techniques for inspecting and repairing cylinder heads. Through hands-on exercises and technical insights, students will learn to optimize cylinder head performance and address common issues to ensure efficient engine operation.

ENGINE ASSEMBLY

The Engine Assembly course offers hands-on training in the complete process of engine assembly. Participants will learn how to properly assemble engine components, including the crankshaft, pistons, and cylinder heads, while focusing on precision, alignment, and torque specifications.
